Introduced to the world of 80’s cinema and spooky culture at a young age, Carissa became obsessed with all things horror, gothic and cinema. Having decided on pursuing her passion and studying filmmaking, Carissa found her niche is curating stories with a sense of darkness and hint of retro nostalgia. With a background in Directing & Production Design, Carissa is a storyteller who conceptualises stories and brands visually and with a distinct aesthetic. Choosing to pay homage to the grittiness of 80’s campy horror and the sleek macabre design of the gothic genre, her designs are a modernised fusion of the two.
